NASHVILLE – One-of-a-kind collaborations are a hallmark of Country Music’s Biggest Night™ and this year that tradition continues with pairings that will be announced each week leading up to the big night on “one-of-a-kind” Wednesdays.
The announcements launch this week with Thomas Rhett teaming up with rock band Fall Out Boy to perform during “The 49th Annual CMA Awards” airing live Wednesday, Nov. 4 (8:00-11 PM/ET) from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on the ABC Television Network.
Rhett and Fall Out Boy will be sure to get the audience in the groove and on their feet as they come together to perform a special collaboration.
Rhett is a nominee in the New Artist of the Year category. CMA previously announced the collaboration of Eric Church with iconic Country rocker Hank Williams, Jr. for a world premiere of Williams’ new Nash Icon release “Are You Ready For the Country,” as well as performances by critically-acclaimed CMA Awards hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
Winners of “The 49th Annual CMA Awards” will be determined in a final round of voting by eligible voting members of the Country Music Association. CMA Awards balloting is tabulated by the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP. Voting for the CMA Awards final ballot ends Tuesday, Oct. 27 (6:00 PM/CT).
“The 49th Annual CMA Awards” is a production of the Country Music Association. Robert Deaton is the Executive Producer and Paul Miller is the Director.
